Skewered
About an hour after sunrise I was watching this grey heron hunting in the shallows. As it got closer and closer to the hide, I started to worry the 500mm lens I had would be too long (how often does a photographer say that?!). So I switched my focus from the predator to the prey and capture this image of a fish sadly torn apart by the repeated stabbing of the heron.
