The Swarm
After a dive at Little Brother in the Red Sea when I was experimenting with my trusty 50mm lens, I came across a common site at the top of the reef wall: a cloud of anthias. Figuring the most unusual thing about the lens was its wide aperture, I started to shoot at f1.4. This dreamy image was the result. While it's not the most technically adept image, I love the softness of the out of focus areas and the contrast of orange on blue. It really captures the essence of swimming through a school of anthias.
